Agilent 89600 Node-Locked License File Request Form

Important Note: If you need a Site Key to license and run your Agilent 89600-series node-locked software, this is NOT the correct form! Return to the 89600 Series Vector Signal Analyzers page and click Request Site Key. Use this form only if you have been told to request a Node-Locked License File in order to license and run your Agilent 89600-series node-locked software.

To obtain a Node-Locked License File, complete the fields on this page. Please provide the License Certificate Numbers for all the 89600 software options that are to be activated on the computer designated via the Host ID you provide. Remember that a License Certificate Number can be used for new activations only once, and that an Update Certificate Number can also be used only once.

If you have several License Certificates that you want to activate on several different computers, please submit a separate request for each separate computer.

Each License Certificate was intended to activate licenses on just one designated computer. If you need to split the licenses shown on a single License Certificate across multiple computers, please contact us for assistance.

Computer Host ID
Provide the Host ID for your computer. Please copy/paste the Host ID into the form or message, if possible. To obtain the Host ID, do the following on your computer:

Click Start > (All) Programs > Agilent 89600 License Support > Server > Host ID
You should see one or more strings. Please provide only the first one shown.

If you do not see Agilent 89600 License Support after clicking Start > (All) Programs, then install 89600 License Support by completing the following steps:

1) Insert the 89600 Series Software CD-ROM. Autoplay will start the Agilent 89600 Installation Manager.
2) Select Install Agilent 89600 VSA
3) On the Installation Options page, select Custom Installation, then click Next
4) Check the box for 89600 License Support
5) Click Next and complete the license support installation.

While you are waiting to receive your license file, you can restore your trial license (if it is still valid) by uninstalling the “89600 License Support”. However, you must then reinstall 89600 License Support when you do receive your license file.

If you have several License Certificates that you want to activate on several different computers, please submit a separate request for each separate computer. Each License Certificate can only be used once, and is intended to activate licenses on just one designated computer. Computer Name (Customer’s name for their computer)

This name is optional and is included for your convenience. Fill in the word or phrase that you use to identify the computer. It might be the name of the person who uses the machine, such as John Doe’s PC, or it might be an identifier that your company has assigned to the computer, such as lab214. If you provide this information, we include it in any correspondence we send you. This might be useful if you are installing licenses on more than one computer, so you can identify which license file goes on which computer.

89600 Software Version
This is the version of the Agilent 89600-series software for which you are requesting a license (e.g. 5.00, etc.). To obtain your version, look at the CD or the Readme.txt file or start your 89600-Series software and click Help > About ...

License Certificate Number
The License Certificate Number is on the License Certificate (printed on colored parchment) that was shipped with your software. Provide the License Certificate numbers for all the 89600 software options that are to be activated on this computer.

A License Certificate Number can be used for new activations only once.

Update Certificate Number
This number appears on the Update Certificate that is shipped to Software Update Service customers.

An Update Certificate Number can be used only once.
