You will need to register the first time you download firmware or software from this page.
The E6655A, N6421A and N6422C/N6423C software is enabled by a USB security key. Each product has a different USB security key. The software downloaded from this site will only operate with a valid USB security key.
N6422C/N6423C Software downloads from this site are available only to Agilent N6422C/N6423C customers. A password is required to access the downloads. The password was supplied in the documentation provided with the initial purchase of N6422C or N6423C.
E6651A WiMAX™ Test Set: Firmware/hardware compatibility
E6651A models with the latest hardware build (rev A.2.x) run firmware revisions 6.x.x.x . This hardware build includes analog I/Q connectivity and support for MIMO options.
E6651A models with earlier hardware builds run firmware revisions 5.x.x.x. Note that upgrades are available to MIMO capable hardware.
It is not possible to install 6.x.x.x firmware on an E6651A which runs 5.x.x.x firmware. Likewise, it is not possible to install 5.x.x.x firmware on an E6651A which runs 6.x.x.x firmware.
To check which firmware revision your E6651A supports, see:
- "Instrument information" section of the "Service" screen (available in instruments running 5.3.1.0 firmware or later), or
- Bottom status bar of E6651A main screen, or
- Start-up splash screen: firmware revision is given in the bottom right-hand corner.
