PMC-RSP msg.

Introduction

When selected, a control command to change the SS transmitter output power by a specified amount is transmitted to the SS.

Procedure

Establish a connection with the SS as described in Interfacing with the Subscriber Station.

1. Press Mode, BS Emulator, Protocol FN Test, Power Control, Setting.

2. Press PMC-RSP msg., Power Adjust and use the knob or numeric keys to configure the required power value change (in 0.25 dB steps).

3. Press Loop Mode to select [CL], OLP or OLA

4. Press Return, Return,  Test Mode to select [PMC-RSP msg.]

5. Press Send Message to send the change Tx power message to the SS. The configured Power Adjust value and Loop setting is shown below the Send Message key.

6. Confirm the change in SS transmitted power as expected by observing the TxPwr: value in the Subscriber Station Information window.
