Active Cell Operating Mode
Last updated: July 23, 2008
Active Cell mode is the test set's default operating mode, and is used to emulate a 1xEV-DO access network cell interacting with the access terminal (AT).
The Active Cell Operating Mode allows you to make a signalling connection between the test set and an AT. When connected, the AT's performance can be measured using the suite of measurements shown when the
Measurement selection
key is pressed.
The basic features provided by active cell operating mode are:
-
Data Connection Processing
-
Start Data Connection
-
End Data Connection
-
Close Session
-
Hard Handoff (Cell Band and Channel)
