External trigger type selects the trigger that is routed to the rear panel TRIG OUT port (see Rear Panel Connectors ). The triggers are based off of the internal clocks/references of the test set and are the same signals that are used to trigger the measurements and data connection processing functionality.
Trigger | Description |
---|---|
1.67 ms (1 slot) | Slot clock |
26.67 ms (1 frame) | Frame clock (short sequence rollover) |
426.67 ms (16 frames) | Control Channel Cycle |
2 s | Even second clock |
External trigger type can be changed at any time.
In addition to the user selected external trigger type, there is also a fixed external trigger that is always present at the BASEBAND I/O port, which triggers each time a power control bit is generated.
