How Do I Change Parameters in IS-856 Test Operating Mode?

A. Select the IS-856 Test Operating Mode.

Press the
CALL SETUP
key.

Select
Operating Mode
(

) and set the operating mode to
IS-856 Test
.

All of parameters that are supported in IS-856 test operating mode can be configured from the Call Control and Call Parms menus.
B. Set the Parameters from Call Control Menus
Configure the parameters necessary for your test conditions, such as
MAX Index
,
Cell Parameters
,
Access Parameters
, etc.

Select
MAC Index
(
F2
) on
Call Control 1 of 2
menu, and enter a value matching your AT's configuration.

Press the left

key and go to
Call Control 2 of 2
menu.

Select
Access Network Info
(

).

Select
Generator Info
(
F3
) and change the parameters as needed (such as AWGN power, PN offset, etc.). See

for details.
C. Set the Parameters from Call Parms Menus
Configure the parameters necessary for your test conditions, such as
Cell Power

Cell Band

Channel
,
Forward Traffic Rate
,
Reverse Data Rate
, etc.

F12
) to select a parameter.

Change the parameter as needed (such as s
