The Exp R-Data Rate determines the data rate at which the reverse data channel are expected to be transmitted by the access terminal (AT) in the IS-856 Test Operating Mode . It may not be the actual data rate being transmitted on the reverse data channel. The expected reverse data rate is primarily used for ranging the test set's receiver power (see Expected Power ).
