Tx Spurious Emissions Measurement Troubleshooting

If the access probe power measurement is on and waiting to measure a probe, all other measurements (except digital average power) will not be able to execute. It is therefore recommended that you turn off the access probe power measurement before attempting any other measurements.

Possible Setup Issues

• You must establish an RTAP (for Subtype 0 Physical Layer) or RETAP (for Subtype 2 Physical Layer) connection to perform the TX Spurious emissions measurement (see How Do I Open a Session and Test Data Connection? ).
• C.S0033 4.4.1 Conducted Spurious Emissions requires that the R-ACK Channel be active. In order for the R-ACK Channel to be active, you must set ACK Channel Bit Fixed Mode Attribute to on, and set AT Directed Packets to a non-zero value.
• During remote operation of this measurement, you should configure the Trigger Arm to Single. See SETup:CTXSpurious:CONTinuous or SETup[:ALL]:CONTinuous:OFF|:ON . If single triggering is used during manual operation, press the START SINGLE key to trigger each measurement.

Troubleshooting Techniques

• Check to see if an integrity indicator other than 0 (normal) was returned with a measurement result (see Integrity Indicator ).

Other Considerations

• To avoid over range or under range integrity indicators, correct for system path loss (see Amplitude Offset ).
• If you are manually controlling the test set's receiver, be certain that you have entered the correct frequency and power values for your test setup (see Receiver Control ).
