Permitted Payload

This section is only applicable to the lab application.

Permitted Payload PS subframe k ( PS is packet size.) is used to set the maximum physical layer packet size that an AT is permitted to transmit in sub-frame n if the physical layer packet size transmitted in sub-frame n-k was PS bits. PS can be 0bits, 128bits, 256bits, 512bits, 768bits, 1024bits, 1536bits, 2048bits, 3072bits, 4096bits, 6144bits, 8192bits or 12288bits. K can be 1, 2 or 3. These settings are accessible only when Physical Layer Subtype is Subtype 2 or Subtype 3 (see Release A Physical Layer Subtype or Release B Physical Layer Subtype ). When a session is open, changing these settings will result in a session re-negotiation (see Session Negotiate State for details).

After setting, the values being set are displayed on the Permitted Payload Information screen:
