How Do I Set Up DUT IP Parameters?

This section is only applicable to the lab application.

  1. Press the CALL SETUP key.
  2. Press the left More key until 3 of 3 is displayed.
  3. Press the Data Channel Info ( F2 ) key.
  4. Press the left More key until 2 of 2 is displayed.
  5. Press the IP Addressing Info ( F5 ) key.
  6. Press the DUT IP Setup ( F2 ) key.
  7. Turn the knob to highlight a parameter and enter/select a value as desired.

For Example: How to configure DUT IPv6 DNS Server IP Address

  1. Turn the knob to highlight the DUT IPv6 DNS Server Prefix, Upper(Hex) parameter and press the knob, a "A-F" softkeys are shown in the right menu for Hex digit input.
  2. Input hex strings with 8 characters, as the picture shows.
  3. Set the DUT IPv6 DNS Server Prefix, Lower(Hex) , DUT IPv6 DNS Server IID, Upper(Hex) , DUT IPv6 DNS Server IID, Lower(Hex) to complete the DUT IPv6 DNS Server IP address setting.

NOTE
When manually inputting the DUT IPv6 DNS Server address and the DUT IPv6 P-CSCF Server address, each address is divided into 4 parts to simplify the input. However when you are using the GPIB command to query or setting the two parameters, each address is set or queried once as a whole.
