Protocol Logging Troubleshooting

This section is only applicable to the lab application and to a test application with the required feature license.
Possible Setup Issues

The test set must be connected via a LAN or WAN to a PC running the E6582A/E6584A Wireless Protocol Advisor (WPA) software. Check connections, installation of software, IP addresses and gateway addresses.

A session must be activated. Check the Logging: status area on the test set's front panel. It should appear as:
Logging:Idle

If messages are not appearing on the PC, make sure the pause button is not selected. This would appear as a green arrow through two vertical bars next to the RECord button.
