Radio Configuration
Last updated: October 28, 2004
The radio configuration is a set of forward traffic channel and reverse traffic channel transmission formats that are characterized by physical layer parameters such as data rates, modulation characteristics, and spreading rates. The traffic channel may consist of one or more code channels such as fundamental channel, supplemental channel.
The test set's base station emulator provides five radio configuration selections for IS-2000 system. The radio configuration specifies the base data rate and service options supported (see
Service Option
).
