Possible Setup Issues
This measurement is
not
applicable to GPRS. To run this measurement ensure the test set is configured for GSM measurements.
On most occasions the test set will be able to select the correct reference frequency when
SETup:IQTuning:REFerence[:MANual][:FREQuency][:SELected]
is set to AUTO. However, if the I/Q Modulator is very badly calibrated, it is possible that the test set selects the wrong offset. This could be confirmed by using the
SETup:IQTuning:REFerence[:MANual][:FREQuency][:SELected]
query.
If your measurement results are invalid or look as if they are centered around the wrong frequency it may be that the carrier frequency is not correctly specified. You must input the carrier frequency into the test set. Invalid measurements may be also be caused by modulation data other than all 1s or all 0s, for example, it may be that a midamble is being transmitted.
