Getting Started with Call Processing

Most of the information in the Call Processing section describes the features and functionality available while in
Active Cell Operating Mode
and one of the
Test Mode Operating Modes
. While in these modes, the test set includes a base station emulator which allows you to establish a connection between the test set and your wireless device (with signaling while in
Active Cell
Operating Mode or by the device synchronizing to the downlink while in a test mode operating mode).
