How Do I Make EGPRS Measurements on a Mobile?

A. Establish a data connection.

Press the blue
SHIFT
key.

Press the green
Preset
key.
-
Press the
CALL SETUP
key.
-
Press
Operating Mode
(
F1
) and select
Active Cell (EGPRS)
.
-
Connect the mobile.
-
Turn the mobile on and wait for
Attached
in the
Active Cell:
field.
For mobiles that don't perform EGPRS attach automatically, set the mobile to data mode.

Press the
Start Data Connection
(
F3
) key and watch for the
Active Cell:
field changing to
Transferring
.
B. Select measurements.
-
Press the
Measurement selection
key.
-
Highlight a measurement and press the knob.
-
Repeat steps 1 and 2 to add measurements.
