How Do I Configure the Speech Source?

Procedure

This procedure details how to select the speech source on the test set.

1. Press CALL SETUP .
2. Press TCH Parameters ( F8 ).
3. Press the More key until screen 2 of 2 of the TCH Parms menu is displayed.
4. Press Speech Setup ( F10 ) and the Speech Setup menu appears in the center of the screen as shown in the figure below.
   
5. Highlight Speech Source and select the desired speech source from the Speech list.
   • If you choose Echo from the Speech list, you can set the Speech Echo Loopback Delay from the Speech Setup list.
   • If you do not select Echo as the Speech Source , the Speech Echo Loopback Delay parameter is grayed out (and it cannot be set) as it is only applicable when Speech Source is Echo. The figure below is an example of what the Speech Setup menu looks like when you do not choose Echo as the Speech Source .
