Current Service Type

Current Service Type indicates the type of service that is currently active. While in Active Cell Operating Mode , Current Service Type is displayed on the Call Setup Screen (and can be queried using the CALL:STATus:SERVice:TYPe? command). Current Service Type is set to the active service type upon completion of the establishment of the service.

The test set supports the following service types:

• AMR Voice (see AMR Setup )
• AMR Voice + PS Data (see Simultaneous Services ) (lab application only)
• Radio Bearer Test Mode
• Radio Bearer Test Mode - HSDPA ( lab application or feature-licensed test application only )
• Radio Bearer Test Mode - HSPA (lab application or feature-licensed test application only)
• Circuit Switched Data Service - Video Call (lab application only or feature-licensed test application only)
• Circuit Switched Data Service - Asynchronous (lab application only)
• Packet Switched Data (lab application only)
• Packet Switched Data - HSDPA ( lab application only )
• Packet Switched Data - HSPA ( lab application only )

Current Service Type is set to None whenever an event occurs that causes the service to be stopped. For example:

• End Call (base station release).
• Any call processing error resulting in a dropped call.
• UE-initiated end of service.
• Full or partial preset.
