UE Information
Last updated: January 15, 2009
When the UE registers with the test set (see
Performing a Location Update (CS Domain Registration)
), the following information is reported by the UE. You can query this information via GPIB commands, or view it on the
Call Setup Screen
under
UE Information
.
Detected PRACH Signature
This feature is only applicable to the lab application.
When the UE sends a PRACH preamble, it uses one of the PRACH signatures that the test set has specified using the
PRACH Signature
parameter. If the test set has specified that more than one PRACH signature is available to the UE, in a series of PRACH bursts, the UE will randomly select which PRACH signature to use for any given burst.
The
Detected PRACH Signature
result is an integer representing the PRACH signature used by the UE on its final PRACH burst (the one that the test set responded to). If the
PRACH Signature
setting specifies a single PRACH signature, then
Detected PRACH Signature
and
PRACH Signature
should be the same.
For the lab application only, the PRACH preamble analysis measurement also reports the signature used by the UE for the PRACH burst it has analyzed (see
PRACH Preamble Analysis Measurement Description
). If the
PRACH Signature
setting specifies a single PRACH signature, then the PRACH signature reported by the measurement,
Detected PRACH Signature
and
PRACH Signature
should be the same.
GPIB command:
CALL:MS:REPorted:PRAChannel:SIGnature?
.
Called Party Number
This feature is only applicable to the lab application.
This is the number the user dialed into the UE when a UE-originated call was established with the test set. If the user dialed 911, 112 or 999, the string "Emergency Call" is displayed.
See
Calling Party Number Parameters
for related information.
GPIB command:
CALL:MS:REPorted:ONUMber<[:SELected]|WCDMa>?
