Possible Setup Issues

During remote operation of the occupied bandwidth measurement, you should configure the trigger arm to single. See SETup:WOBWidth .

If the trigger arm is not set to single, you may not be able to retrieve measurement results during remote use if you are using the INIT:DONE? query. When the trigger arm is continuous, the measurement rearms itself and starts another measurement cycle, causing the INIT:DONE? query to always return "WAIT". See Trigger Arm (Single or Continuous) Description for more explanation.

The trigger source defaults to Auto for the occupied bandwidth measurement, and tries to use protocol triggering if the mobile station (UE) is synchronized to the test set. Immediate triggering is used if the mobile station is not synchronized. While on a faded channel (see Digital Bus Information ), the measurement will only return valid results if Trigger Source is set to Immediate or External .

Interpreting Integrity Indicator Values

This measurement uses auto-ranging to automatically set the expected level into the test set.

If Over Range (5) is returned, the measured signal exceeds the expected input level or exceeds the maximum allowed input power for the test set.

If Under Range (6) is returned, the measured signal is below the expected input level.

If Uncalibrated Due to Temperature (19) is returned, the temperature in the test set has changed by ± 10° C or more since the last calibration and should be calibrated again. CALibration Subsystem
