Extended Range Dynamic Power Measurement Troubleshooting

Last updated: January 16, 2009

Possible Setup Issues

Other Considerations

  • Ensure that you have entered the proper Amplitude Offset values for your test setup. Absolute measurement results are affected by any amplitude offsets that are entered (relative measurement results are not).
  • Ensure that the power sequence to be measured meet the Extended Range Dynamic Power Input Signal Requirements .
  • Before performing an Extended Range Dynamic Power measurement, ensure that the measurement has been properly calibrated (see Calibrating the Test Set ).
  • To ensure that the measurement is not interrupted by other operations, it is recommended that you not send any GPIB commands to the test set or press any front panel keys until the measurement has completed.
  • Check to see if an integrity indicator other than 0 (normal) was returned with the measurement result (see Integrity Indicator ).
