N4017A The Bluetooth Graphical Measurement Application Video Demonstrations

The N4017A Bluetooth® GMA video demonstrations illustrate the ability to fully configure the test set and display both numerical and graphical results. They present the opportunity to learn more about the latest Bluetooth technology developments and measurement capability, relevant for R&D engineers, manufacturing test engineers and those interested in the new Bluetooth 2.0 standard enhanced data rate (EDR).

The new measurements included in the N4017A option 205 software address six of the eight EDR test cases. These tests are essential for developers wishing to avail of the potential of EDR and the many benefits it brings. For example, higher throughput, support for multiple Bluetooth links and lower power consumption in a Bluetooth design.

• Analyzer, generator, test mode & normal link mode (SCO and ACL)
• Bluetooth 1.x & Bluetooth EDR capability
• Change in packet structure & modulation type for higher data rates
• Key EDR transmitter & receiver measurements:
  

  Transmit functionality including relative transmit power, differential EVM, carrier freq stability, differential phase encoding and guard interval measurement

  Receive functionality including maximum input level, sensitivity with impairments and BER floor sensitivity

• Full audio commentary
• Detailed numerical & graphical results
• Graph manipulation, exporting & saving data
• Demonstrates measurements that may be accessed using COM and .NET drivers
