Signal

When a power-sensitive DUT is connected to the signal generator, ensure that the RF power is off before downloading a waveform.

Apply sends the current signal configuration to the ESG. "Downloading..." appears in the status bar message area as the configuration downloads to the ESG. If the configuration is not received by the ESG, an error message describing the problem appears (for example, "No valid instrument connection"). In this case, you should refer to troubleshooting. To re-enable control of the ESG, press the Local hardkey, which enables the signal generator settings to be modified from the front panel.

The apply function also performs a power search when the software setup turns off the ESG ALC feature. It is always disabled if one or more HSDPA or HSUPA channels are on.

Help

Help displays the contents of the Help system.

About displays the version and build date of the Signal Studio software.
