Reverse Activity Parameters

Reverse Activity Parameters

Last updated: July 25, 2008

This section is only applicable to the lab application.

The Reverse Activity Bit (RABit) is transmitted on the Reverse Activity Channel of the Forward MAC Channel to indicate to the AT if the AN is busy. When the Operating Mode is Active Cell and the Session Application Type is Test Application, Default Packet Application or Multi-Flow Packet Application, the users can configure the RABit as required by setting RA Bits Number of Consecutive Ones and RA Bits Number of Consecutive Zeros .

The consecutive ones and consecutive zeros are always sent by the test set alternately as the number specified by the settings. When one of this two settings is set to zero, the test set will send the other setting only and the number of the other setting can not also be set to zero. Otherwise, the setting is rejected and the error "RABits Number of Consecutive Ones and RABits Number of Consecutive Zeros can not both be set to zero." is posted.
