GPIB Command Conventions

CALL:ORIGinate

Function

Generates a page attempt to the mobile station.

If the call attempt fails, the test set will return to the idle call processing state.

   
NOTE
In lab application, this command can also be used for sending SMS messaging during an SO6 or SO14 connection. See method 2 in Sending an SMS Message to the Mobile Station .
