during mobile originating call or packet mode connection establishment.
If you set the
CM Service Request

, the test set will act like the OTA message is never received. If it is set to be
off
, the test set will not ignore the message. Meanwhile, you can further set
CM Service Request Reject State
to
on
/off to reject/accept CM Service Request.
When
CM Service Request
is ignored, when and who to release the call depends on the timer T303, see
Configurable Timers
. If T303 expires, the MS should start to release the call.
If you set the
CM Service Request
Reject State

, the test set will reject the CM Service Request from the mobile station and send to it the
CM Service Request Reject Cause
. If it is set to be
off
, the test set will not reject the CM Service Request from the mobile station.

If no custom value has previously been set via RUI, then the default binary value of the Custom Value in the MUI is 11111111. If the specified cause value is not defined in the enumeration list of MUI, the value will be treated as Custom Value and shown as Custom Value in the MUI.You can initiate a CM Service Rejection procedure by doing the following:
