This command sets/queries the LAPDm Format on SACCH channel. The LAPDm Format specification changes since Release 1996(R96). LAPDm Format B is used before R96 while LAPDm Format B4 is used after R96. You can select either of them according to the LAPDm Format of your mobile station.
