INITiate

These commands allow you to start and stop measurements.

INITiate:<measurement mnemonic>[:ON]

Function

These commands initiate (start) the specified measurements:

  • TCP (Channel Power Measurement)

  • TWQ (Waveform Quality Measurement)

  • TACL (Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio

  • TSEMask (Spectrum Emission Mask Measurement)

  • FSTability (Frequency Stability Measurement)

  • TCLPower (Closed Loop Power Control Measurement)

  • TOBWidth (Occupied Bandwidth Measurements)

  • TDPower (Dynamic Power Measurement)

  • TOOPower (Transmit ON/OFF Power Measurement)

  • TBERror (Loopback Bit Error Rate Measurement)

  • TOLPower (Open Loop Power Control Measurement)

  • TBLerror (Block Error Ratio Measurement)

  • THBLerror (HSDPA Block Error Ratio Measurement)

INITiate:TFDTune:ARMed?

Function

Queries the arm state of the fast device tune measurement.

  • This command immediately returns a 1 if the fast device tune measurement has been initiated and is ready to be triggered.

  • This command hangs if the fast device tune measurement has been initiated but is not ready to be triggered (it will return a 1 once the measurement becomes ready to be triggered).

  • This command immediately returns a 0 if the fast device tune measurement is not in the process of preparing for a trigger (for example, if the fast device tune measurement has not been initiated, has been aborted, or has already been triggered).
