GPIB Command Conventions

CALL[:CELL]:OCNSource:CCODe:CODE

Function

Sets/queries the Channelization codes for WCDMA orthogonal channel noise simulator (OCNS) 1 to 16.

This setting cannot be changed while in active cell operating mode (when available). Attempting to change this setting while in this mode results in the following error message: "Command Rejected. Change Not Allowed in Active Cell Mode." Use the cell off operating mode when changing this value.

Requirements

Lab Application Revision: F.00 and above

Test Application Revision: A.14 and above, with the required feature license

Programming Example

CALL[:CELL]:OCNSource:CCODe:CODE:HSDPa

Function

Sets/queries the Channelization codes of HSDPA orthogonal channel noise simulator (OCNS) 1 to 6.

This setting cannot be changed while in active cell operating mode (when available). Attempting to change this setting while in this mode results in the following error message: "Command Rejected. Change Not Allowed in Active Cell Mode." Use the cell off operating mode when changing this value.

Setting

CALL[:CELL]:OCNSource:CONFig:STATe:HSDPa

Function

Sets/queries the HSDPA/HSPA OCNS 1 to 6 Channel Configuration States.

Setting

Range: 1|ON|0|OFF

Query

Range: 0|1

*RST Setting

1 (ON), 1 (ON), 1 (ON), 1 (ON), 1 (ON), 1 (ON)
Requirements

Lab Application Revision: F.00 and above

Test Application Revision: A.14 and above, with the required feature license

Programming Example

OUTPUT 714;"CALL:OCNSource:CONFig:STATe:HSDPa 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1"

CALL[:CELL[1]]:OCNSource:LEVel([:SELected]|:FDD)?

Function

Queries the calculated ( Desired ) level of the UTRA FDD composite orthogonal channel noise simulator (OCNS).

The optional [:SELected] keyword in this command specifies that the OCNS channel level being queried applies to the current system type.

The OCNS level is a calculated value used to balance the relative power levels of the following channels to sum to 100%:

  • OCNS
  • Common Pilot Channel (CPICH)
  • Primary Common Control Physical Channel (P-CCPCH
  • Synchronization Channel (SCH)
  • Page Indicator Channel (PICH)
  • Dedicated Physical Channel (DPCH)

If the contribution of OCNS is calculated to be -30 dB or less, the OCNS state is turned off.

See Orthogonal Channel Noise Simulator (OCNS) .

Query

Range: 0 to -29 dB, 9.91 E+37, -9.9E+37 (returned if no power is being placed into the OCNS channels)

Resolution: 0.01 dB

*RST Setting

9.91 E+37

Requirements

Test or Lab Application Revision: A.01 and above

Programming Example

OUTPUT 714;"CALL:OCNSOURCE:LEVEL?" !Queries the calculated OCNS level.

CALL[:CELL]:OCNSource:POFFset:HSDPa

Function

Sets/queries the HSDPA/HSPA orthogonal channel noise simulator (OCNS) 1 to 6 Power Offsets (raletive levels).

Query

Range: 0 to -20 dB, 9.91 E+37

Resolution: 0.01 dB

*RST Setting

0 dB

Requirements

Lab Application Revision: F.00 and above

Test Application Revision: A.14 and above, with the required feature license

Programming Example

OUTPUT 714;"CALL:OCNSource:POFFset:HSDPa 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0"

CALL[:CELL[1]]:OCNSource:STATe([:SELected]|:FDD)?

Function

Queries the on/off state of the calculated UTRA FDD composite orthogonal channel noise simulator (OCNS).

The optional [:SELected] keyword in this command specifies that the OCNS state being queried applies to the current system type.

The OCNS level is a calculated value used to balance the relative power levels of the following channels to sum to 100%:

  • OCNS
  • Common Pilot Channel (CPICH)
  • Primary Common Control Physical Channel (P-CCPCH
  • Synchronization Channel (SCH)
  • Page Indicator Channel (PICH)
  • Dedicated Physical Channel (DPCH)

If the contribution of OCNS is calculated to be -30 dB or less, the OCNS state is turned off.

See Orthogonal Channel Noise Simulator (OCNS) .

Query

Range: 1|0

*RST Setting

0 (off)

Requirements

Test or Lab Application Revision: A.01 and above

Programming Example

OUTPUT 714;"CALL:OCNSOURCE:STATE?"
