 GPIB Command Conventions

 CALL[:CELL[1]]:WAVeform:TYPE:CW

 Function

Sets/queries the type of test signals to be output to the currently selected front-panel RF connector while in CW operating mode. See CW Operating Mode for details.

 The test signals include:

  • CW generates an unmodulated continuous sine waveform signal.
  •  AM generates an amplitude modulated signal with 56% depth and 20 kHz modulation rate.
  •  DSB generates a dual side-band suppressed carrier signal with 20 kHz spacing between the two carriers.

When in CW operating mode, switching test signals requires a few seconds. A few seconds of delay is also encountered when changing operating modes if the current test signal is not CW.
