The RF Generator tab on the RF Control window provides access to the RF Generator (source) parameters.
This parameter sets the RF generator frequency control mode, either Auto or Manual. When set to Manual, you can specify the RF generator frequency.
SCPI command: RFGenerator:CONTrol:FREQuency:AUTO:WCALibration[?]
This parameter sets the RF generator frequency. This setting only applies when the Control Mode is set to Manual. See Downlink Channel UARFCN for details on which downlink channels and frequencies the test set supports.
SCPI command: RFGenerator:FREQuency:WCALibration[?]
This parameter sets the DPCH DL channel number. This setting only applies when the Control Mode is set to Auto. See Downlink Channel UARFCN for details on which downlink channels and frequencies the test set supports.
SCPI command: TRANsceiver:CHANnel:DOWNlink:FDD[?]
This parameter sets the RF generator power level.
SCPI command: RFGenerator:POWer:AMPLitude:WCALibration[?]
This parameter sets the RF generator modulation mode. The following selections are available:
Continuous wave (CW)
Amplitude modulation (AM)
Frequency modulation (FM)
Double sideband suppressed carrier (DSB-SC)
Arbitrary waveform generator (ARB)
SCPI command: RFGenerator:MODulation:WCALibration[?]
This parameter sets the RF generator modulation frequency. This setting only applies when the modulation mode is set to AM, FM, or DSB-SC.
SCPI command: RFGenerator:MODulation:FREQuency:WCALibration[?]
This parameter sets the RF generator AM depth. This setting only applies when the modulation mode is set to AM.
SCPI command: RFGenerator:MODulation:AM:DEPTh:WCALibration[?]
This parameter sets the RF generator FM deviation. This setting only applies when the modulation mode is set to FM.
SCPI command: RFGenerator:MODulation:FM:DEViation:WCALibration[?]
This parameter sets the arbitrary waveform (ARB) file from the ARB random access memory (RAM) disk directory.
When a file is selected it is loaded into the ARB memory so that it can be run.
The following waveforms are available:
WCDMA_RMC_12_2
This waveform comprises of:
CPICH at -3.3 dBc Code 0,
P-CCPCH/SCH at -5.35 dBc Code 1,
PICH at -8.33 dBc Code 16,
all SF = 256 DPCH at -10.3 dBc Code 9 SF = 128.
WCDMA_RMC_64
This waveform comprises of:
CPICH at -3.3 dBc Code 0,
P-CCPCH/SCH at -5.35 dBc Code 1,
PICH at -8.33 dBc Code 16,
all SF = 256 DPCH at -10.3 dBc Code 6 SF = 32.
WCDMA_RMC_144
This waveform comprises of:
CPICH at -3.3 dBc Code 0,
P-CCPCH/SCH at -5.35 dBc Code 1,
PICH at -8.33 dBc Code 16,
all SF = 256 DPCH at -10.3 dBc Code 12 SF = 16.
WCDMA_RMC_384
This waveform comprises of:
CPICH at -3.3 dBc Code 0,
P-CCPCH/SCH at -5.35 dBc Code 1,
PICH at -8.33 dBc Code 16,
all SF = 256 DPCH at -10.3 dBc Code 6 SF = 8.
In all these waveforms the channel data is random.
SCPI command: RFGenerator:AWAVeform:SELection[?]
This parameter sets the ARB run mode. Setting this command to:
Run starts running the ARB file from the beginning.
Stop provides no output and turns the TSP IF off.
SCPI command: RFGenerator:AWAVeform:RUN[?]
This parameter sets the external ARB output trigger. The external trigger drives the rear panel BBP TRIG OUT BNC connector. The Modulation Mode must be set to Arbitrary Waveform generator (ARB) for this parameter to take affect.
SCPI command: RFGenerator:AWAVeform:TRIGger:EXTernal[:OUTput][?]
This parameter sets the RF output port destination: RF In/Out or RF Out Only.
SCPI command: RFGenerator:OUTPut[:DESTination][?]
