This section is only applicable to the lab application.
The test set communicates with a mobile station under test through messages formatted according to IS-95 or IS-2000 standards.
The overhead messages listed below have message fields which are directly or indirectly settable by the user. Overhead message fields not listed below are either specified by the standard or have been fixed to a suitable default value by the test set.

The test set transmits these overhead messages on the paging channel (F-PCH) or primary broadcast control channel (F-BCCH) depending upon the current control channels.

The test set supports the following overhead messages carried on the primary broadcast control channel (F-BCCH) when the protocol revision (P_REV) is no less than 7. The test set does not support the remaining F-BCCH overhead messages.
