CALL[:CELL]:PCAType

Function

GSM TA

This command is not applicable to GSM.

GPRS TA

This command sets/queries the type of burst used to carry Packet Control Acknowledgments.

The settings for this command include:

  • ACCess

    When this setting is selected, the test set sends the Packet Control Acknowledgment message on four access bursts. You can also configure the format of the access bursts (8-bit or 11-bit) by using the command CALL[:CELL]:(PBCCH|PBCChannel):PRACh:LENGth .

  • NORMal

    When this setting is selected, the test set sends the Packet Control Acknowledgment message on a normal RLC/MAC block.
